Worst Car

Hi.

I found funny picture. This is a "Horsey Horseless car."

When I saw this picture, I laugh out loud. Hahaha.

Fake horse's face is made from wood, and it seems that it carries an engine. It is a picture of 1899's, and nobody don't know actually it made or not.

In the list of worst cars, number one is 1909 Ford Model T. This model helped us to change people's image of cars. In America, car were really luxury item. So Ford tried to down costs and success selling them for low price. But, after a year, it had many problem with many point.

I studied this model in my economy class in this semester. Teacher said that this was a most epoch-making car because ordinary people could buy. But after few years, Ford lost another car company. Teacher's story is true.

I like watching new model cars.

I want to buy big wagon for next my car. I hope my favorite car will not choose worst car.

iPad

Hi.

In the last blog, I wrote about iPhone. Then, the next is "iPad." iPad is bigger than iPhone and iPod touch, smaller than the computers. There are many both good and bad opinions about iPad before it is sold. There are many articles which are introducing iPad. According to these articles, we can do everything on iPad. We can read books, listen to music, use the Internet, and so on.

I heard the name of iPad, but I didn't know the details. But it is as same as almost my ideas of it. Honestly, I don't feel I want to buy it. This is "lackadaisical" thing for me. If I chose iPod or iPad, I will choose iPod now. Because it is very unfinished, I think. Size, functions, it is unfinished for me.

If you like iPad, I'm sorry!

iPhone

Hi.

Last year my colleagues bought iPhone. They are really satisfied with its usefulness. I have my cell phone and I thought I changing to iPhone, but I didn't yet. I want iPhone but I always think that is it good tool for calling?

I read an article about iPhone. It is especially about applications. In iPhone, we can add about 800 kinds of applications. In these applications, "Pandora" is the most popular application. This application is free personalized radio. You only start with the name of your favorite artists, then this application, Pandora create your own radio station. Next popular application is "Midomi SoundHound." This is for searching what you hear or sing. David Pogue, who is a reporter of New York Times praised this application.

I want to buy iPhone.

I was surprised at Pandora. This is amazing. I like music very much, so I want to use this application. I will listen to this station for all day.

But I think this is not only cell phone but also PC. If I have iPhone, I will play many applications for all day by my iPhone. Mummm, but I want...

Heroes of the Environment

Hi.

Did you think about the environment seriously? Actually, I didn't. I try to classify the garbage, but I didn't take care about green house effect, pollution of air an water, and so on.

I found an article about heroes of the environment in 2009. In this article, 30 heroes and heroines are introduced. They are all think about, act and studying for saving the environment.

And I found the Japanese female name, Yumi Someya. Her father is a top of his company which is recycle company. When she realized changing her life conviniently, she started to think about its sacrifices, nature. She tried to ask her father to think about the environment, and she and her father started to make soap made from cooking oil.

When my life change conveniently, I only thought like that, "This is good, it is convenient!"

I finished reading this article, my thought changed a little. I cannot take big action like Ms. Someya, but I want to start little things to save our earth. I quit leaving room turn on the lights and air conditioner. When I take shower, I quit leave the shower running. When I go out, I pull out plugs.

I will be a heroine of the environment, too. This is one of my aim in this year.

I watched a movie "This Is It" in the theater last year. I like Michael Jackson, but I was not a enthusiastic fan. I wanted to listen his music and watch his last dance, So I went to the theater. After I watched this movie, I became his fan. I realized that he was a really great pop star, he was a king of pop.

There are many articles about him. I read many articles at glance. There is an article that author introduced top 10 MJ songs. Maybe this ranking is only author's personally ranking. The number one is "Beat It."The Author said that he was a pioneer that melding rock and R&B, and this song is rock, tense and spooky. It is the best song oh Michael Jackson, he said.

I like "Beat It" very much, but I like "Thriller" the best. I like its music video. When I was in a junior high school, I watched this video in music class. It was shocking for me (of course good meaning). I really enjoyed this videos. That was the first time when I watched his video completely.

He was a greatest artist. Great number of people in all over the world were shocked and sad when he died. I wanted to listen his new songs more.

I became his fan after he died.

The perfect diet!

I found a headline "The Perfect 10 Diet." This is a title of best seller's book and author introduce it in this article. Author said "People tend to go a little crazy when they are on a diet." This is because the diets themselves are often crazy. Only drinking fruits juice, only eating cabbages...In this book, there are 10 healthy and balanced diets.

I was not on real diet because I like to eat very much. So I couldn't believe how to diet without eating. I have never try them. As author said sometimes there are crazy diets. For example, we only drink fruit juice without eating. Maybe I can't stand it. Recently I feel little afraid of my shape because I didn't any sports at all. I want to be on diet, but I don't want to cutting foods. So I want to read this book.

I want to make my body shape beauty and healthy, so I want to read it.

But, is there the best way to be on diet truly? I was little wondering.

I really hungry now. So I searched an article about food. I found about relation between health and salt. When we are on diet, maybe many of us think about only sugar, fat and so on. But in this article, author said about amount of salt. At the University of California, San Francisco, researchers found that daily salt intake can lead to health benefits. They found that reducing sodium by 3 grams per a day would be good for hearts. This is as same as cutting cigaret. And sodium related to blood pressure.

My father has hight blood pressure, so he try to cut salty or high cholesterol foods.

It is difficult to change our body to healthy at once. But I felt food is the most important things to our healthy life. Maybe it is a short way to become healthy body.

I want to live a healthy life.

I write this blog while I am eating chocolate cookies.

I should stop to eat sweets. But I love chocolate and cake and...

It is difficult for me to quit sweets completely! So I try to reduce the amount of them.

Of course I take care about salt!

Recently I started to join twitter and MySpace.com. Some friends of mine joined Facebook, but I don't know about Facebook anything. I found an article about Facebook. Author said that he sent roses to his ex-girlfriend on Facebook. Not picture or some images, there were the real. Recently Facebook started the service to sending gift in real world. Without shopping cart, and checkout. And you don't need input address which you want to send.

I didn't know that. I was very surprised. I feel that the power of the Internet is very great. Last year, I could contact with my old friends through the Internet services. Thanks to it, I could know about them. Since I was a elementary school student, I couldn't contact with them because they moved to mainland from Okinawa. I was really happy when I found them. So this (Facebook"s gift service) is very great idea, I think.

I realized the power of the Internet. This is very useful and meaningful.

The Sundance Film Festival

Yesterday I finished my all test, I wrote about it before, today I have no class so I will go shipping after a long time. There are many things that I really want to buy. Recently I found many good and cool artists, so I want to buy many CDs. I have a laptop, so I can use and buy songs on the net. But I prefer CDs to mp3 because I want to listen CDs in my car. I don't have a transmitter to listen iPod or something in cars. I will go the Tower Records in Kokusai street after finishing writing this blog.

Next article is about movie festival in Utah, United States.

The Sundance film festival held every year. And this year, Robert Redford, he is an actor, kicked off attendance this year's festival.

Every year many famous actors and celebrities attend this festival, so it becomes big festival. Because of it, it become difficult to unknown works. Unknown works means that movies which are made by low costs, unknown people.

This year Paranormal Activity picked up in this festival and it made more than $123 million.

At first, this movie is also unknown work. But now, it become famous movie. In Japan, it was showed from last month.

I didn't know about this festival, but I knew about Paranormal Activity and I wanted to watch it. I really like watching movies, but I have enough money to go to the theater every time. I wish I were a rich.

We Are the World

I am really sleepy today because I wrote papers until late at night.

Today's article is about "We Are the World." This is very famous song, and it was released in 25 years ago. Recently there was a very strong earthquake in Haiti. 80 artists stood up and covered "We Are the World" to help Haiti. This song was officially titled "We Are the Word -25 for Haiti." At recording studio, many musicians collaborated and singing old song together at the break time.

I like this song very much since I was a little child. But actually I didn't know the years that it was released. I was born in 1986, so this song was released before I was born.

In Haiti, probably it is very awful condition yet. I hope it will become good soon, and I want to something to help Haitian people.

I want to listen new "We Are the World" soon.

Healthier Relationship

I am reading an article about healthier relationship now. What is a "healthier relationship"? In this article, author said about mental health. She mentioned that maybe many of you might forget about enjoying your life. Challenging some new things with your partner, quit saving and spend some money for yourself, eating what you like without thinking about diet...she advised many things.

I agree with her because when I saving money strictly, I didn't be able to enjoy my daily life bery much. Of course saving is very important and good things, but we should do anything in moderation. I think that this is the best way to enjoy our lives.

By the way, I found a phrase of "gray" divorce. It means that couples who divorce over fifty. I searched expression as same as this phrase, so when I found this phrase, I was really happy. In Japanese, it is said "jyukunenn riokon."It seems that this became unexpected trend in both of Japan and America.

I don't want divorce when I get married.

However, can I get married? I wonder.

I will try to some of her suggestions from tomorrow.

Famous Rapper

Today I finished my all examinations of last semester! Oh, I really tired.

But, I have to write more more blog...It is awful. It is may fault. Ohh...

I read an article about famous rapper, Lil' Wayne. I don't know him at all because I don't listen hip hop or rap music very much. Why I read this article is a headline. "Rapper Lil' Wayne to Be Sentenced to Jail." This is a title of this article. He was arrested with the police because he illegal had weapon, a gun on his tour bus in 2007. Then next week he will be sentenced. The article said that the many rappers were arrested with many reasons.

I don't know about him very much, but I wonder why he had a gun on his tour bus, and why the police found that. In America, I often heard many people have own guns. I sometimes saw news related guns. I live in Japan and of course I don't need guns at all. Do people in America need to having guns truly? Maybe this is difficult question. However we should think about this problem.

When I looked for some articles which I am interested in, I found a video news on the web. It is on TIME magazine's page, and introduced Grammy's best music videos in 2010.

In this video, a reporter introduced five music videos. This year, five musicians are nominated in award, Beast, the Black Eyed Peas, coldplay, Depeche Mode, and Oren Lavie. She explained about these clips.

I really like first music clip in this video. They are BEAST, and I did not know them.

This video and music are really cool!

I want to get their music, and I will go to a CD store this weekend.

I am going to write about another article which I wrote about last blog.

I read another article which was written about Napster. Few years ago, music sharing system which was called Napster was famous in America among young people. It was made by sixteen year-old boy. However this system had a problem, music which were shared in Napster was almost of all were illegal music. Users pirated music and shared each other. This became big problem and because of this, Napster disappeared.

I have heard the name of Napster, but I did not know about that. I searched more details about this matter on the Internet, I found that a famous band sued Napster and it disappeared in 2000.

I mentioned in the last blog, on the Internet, we can do many things easily. It is very useful. So we have to think how to use and associate with the Internet.

Recently I often read some articles because I have to read and write a paper in another class.

Today I am going to introduce 2 article which are about music,especially the Internet music. Now, I am going to write about one article in this blog. First article is about music piracy. In this article, author mentioned that music piracy is increasing nowadays and this is a big problem for the music industry and musicians. They try to fight against and struggle to eliminate music piracy.

When I read this article, I thought this problem is close to our lives. The Internet has developed rapidly and greatly in recent years. It is very useful and it becomes necessary tool for us in our lives. On the Internet we can do many things easily, we can pirate music, too. Of course all of us do not do pirating, but many people pirate music, possibly unconsciously. We should think about pirating more seriously.
